Our story

Why Number 9?

There comes a point in life when many women begin looking for something different.

Not because they’ve stopped being ambitious. Not because they’ve stopped being curious. But because they’re looking for connection that feels genuine.

After years of building careers, raising families, navigating change, celebrating successes and overcoming life’s inevitable challenges, many women find themselves searching for something they can’t quite describe.

A room where they feel completely at ease.

I created The No.9 Club because I was tired of walking into rooms that were perfectly lovely… but somehow just weren’t my room.

I wanted to create somewhere that felt different.

Beautiful surroundings. Interesting conversation. Thoughtful experiences. No pressure to perform. No expectation to network.

Just a warm welcome and a room full of women who understand that this stage of life has its own richness, confidence and possibilities.

Our first two gatherings have brought together wonderful rooms of women for conversation, connection and shared experiences. These are some of their reflections on the mornings.

I didn’t go in looking for perspective. I went in flat, and tired, and not really wanting to network with anyone. I left with both, and with a reminder that rooms like this matter, especially for women who are carrying more than they let on.

It was perfect. Relaxed, informal and very interesting, with a fantastic group of women who were all open to the calm and friendly environment. That made the conversations flow.

I have a great feeling about this interesting, talented and driven group of women. Can’t wait for our next venture.

A fantastic event. I’ll certainly be back.

The No.9 Club is already shaping up to be the best network I’ve joined, and I’m excited to see where it goes next.
